# AP03 — dated note, 14 September 2026

**Dated note, 14 September 2026 — the bracket.** From The Keys (December 2025) until 14 September 2026, the complete-cycle form of the axiom was written 1:1 + 1×ε @ AS [+1/137 / −1/137]. It is now written 1:1 + 1×ε @ AS [+α | −α]. Nothing in the structure moves: the flow out and back at the same rate, balanced at every instant, net zero. What changes is what the axiom names. The old form named the input’s number, rounded; the new form names the input, α, whose value — one part in 137 — is measured, not derived, and is stated as measured on every page that uses it. The author’s reading: the old form had already identified the input number; the axiom now identifies the input, not a number. The old form stays on the record as written. The compressed form, 1:1 + 1×ε @ AS, is unchanged.

## Where the form appears in this paper

AP03 prints the complete-cycle form twice, in its dependency paragraphs, where it credits AP06 with deriving it: “AP06 derives the cycle form 1:1 + 1×ε @ AS [+1/137 / −1/137]”. Those sentences stand as published.

## Why this note stands beside the paper and not inside it

AP03 has no source of record: no document reproduces the published PDF paragraph for paragraph, so the PDF cannot be re-exported without publishing a different paper. The locked body is therefore untouched and this note stands beside it, which is what the discipline requires where a source of record does not exist.
