# Republish AP06 — The Leakage Constant — the decorative glyph removed

The locked body is untouched. One character was removed from the published PDF: a
decorative U+2728 standing alone on page 5, on the line above the colophon.

**D75 forbids a decorative glyph anywhere in the work.** This one was also broken on
the page: no embedded font in the paper carries U+2728, so it did not render as a
glyph at all — every reader saw an empty box. The forty-seven papers that never
carried it print that block as `the420code.org` over `Copyleft 2026. Don’t be a cunt.
Be kind.`, with nothing above it, and that is now what this paper prints. The removal
is the replacement: the house form is what stands there.

AP06 has no source of record, so the PDF could not be re-exported from a document —
that would have published a different paper. The glyph was removed from the published
PDF itself, and the change was proved three ways before the file was written:

* the page count is unchanged at 43;
* the extracted text of every page is unchanged except page 5, where the only edit is
  the deletion of the glyph and its newline — a pure deletion, asserted as such, not a
  rewrite of any surrounding text;
* the rendered pixels of every page are unchanged except page 5.

No text of the paper moved. Nothing was repositioned, reflowed or re-typeset.
