# Artist’s Note

This is Artist’s Proof 45 of The 420 Code. It belongs to Notebook IV — Forces and Constants, beside AP44, The Snap, and it prices what The Snap left unpriced: the cost of every actualization.

A human blinks fifteen thousand times a day and notices none of them. The eye closes, the world is gone, the eye opens, and the world is back — changed by exactly one frame — and the mind stitches over the gap so completely that most people live and die without once catching themselves in the dark. This paper is about the universe doing the same thing, at every scale, at every instant, and about what each blink costs.

I went looking for something else. On the 2nd of August 2026 my neutron prediction died — cleanly, at 7.24σ. I made a mistake and I was wrong. That means, simply, that I betrayed the structure and did not look closely enough.

For weeks the quarry was the neutron. I knew I had made a structural omission and I wanted to fix its formula structurally. I circled a configuration cost on my mirrors until the mirrors ran out of room.

I also knew that if the mistake — the omission — was indeed structural, then not only was the neutron prediction wrong; the gravity derivation would be incomplete too.

The first step was to identify the structural omission and correct the derivations where required. Then came gravity’s correction — Artist’s Proof 44, The Snap. This paper is the second step: the same omission, priced at every event. The neutron’s own row came after both, in Artist’s Proof 47, The Flip — and the corpse stays dead. The death is in this paper, shown, because in this body of work I will never hide a corpse. I will update it. I will correct where needed. But I will never delete mistakes and failures.

And one more thing, said plainly because the reader deserves to know where the author stands. Section 2 calls the held ε the seat of the one interior. That is graded interpretive in the body, and the grade is honest — it is not proved physics yet. But it is the most sure thing I know. I wrote the entire 420 Code because in my universe there is only one interior. The grade and the conviction can share a page; that is what grades are for.

Don’t be a cunt. Be kind.

## Where this paper fits in the body of work

The 420 Code is organised across eight bound notebooks. This paper belongs to Notebook IV — Forces and Constants — and sits beside AP44, The Snap, whose companion it is.

Four papers make one family. AP44 priced existence once, at the arena: the hold, held forever, written into the gravitational coupling. This paper prices every actualization: the break, per event, spent. AP46, The Stretch, prices persistence continuously: the tension’s shed, read as the expansion of the sky. AP47, The Flip, prices the strained hold at second order: the neutron’s held distinction. Four costs, one axiom, one mechanism at four sites.

This proof establishes that every actualization is a **blink** — one singular event in which a configuration breaks and re-couples — and that the event has a cost with two faces. On the **energy face** the cost is nothing new: the ordinary threshold energetics every break already involves, unchanged, which is why no budget anywhere owes this paper a line. On the **possibility face** the cost is exactly **one grain of distinction — one ε-grain, α-worth, dimensionless — spent as the pruning of the alternatives not taken.** There is a cost to turning right, and it is turning left. The world already measures this ledger’s outside face and calls it probability.

## How to read this paper

The reading order is front to back. Section 0 names the dependencies and the scope. Sections 1 through 11 carry the structural argument. Section 12 is the falsification register. Section 13 is the synthesis — what this paper closes, what it leaves open, its provenance, and what moves in the corpus when it is adopted.

The proof’s spine: the axiom’s two ε-roles (§2); the singular event (§3); the ledger and the toll theorem (§4); the denomination and the two faces (§5); the channel geometry, where two partitions were computed and found to be one axis (§6); the Born identification (§7); the pairing with The Snap and the non-closure of the axiom (§8); the payment of D5, with the three registers reconciled (§9); the history with both deaths shown (§10); the refusals (§11); the switches (§12); and what moves on adoption (§13).

Everything derives from the axiom outward: 1:1 + 1×ε @ AS [+1/137 | −1/137]. The one measured input remains α. No new number is predicted anywhere in this paper, and the paper says so on every face it wears.

# 0 — Dependency and Scope

## 0.1 — What this paper does

AP45 prices the break. Every actualization is one singular blink, and the blink has a cost. Three things, each at its stated grade.

First. It proves, at the structural register, that the cost exists and is exactly one: one grain of distinction per event, spent on the possibility ledger as the pruning of the alternatives not taken, regardless of how many alternatives there were.

Second. It fixes the denomination. The grain is α-worth, by two arguments on two jurisdictions and by the elimination of every rival currency — and it shows the cost’s two faces: an energy face that is ordinary and unchanged, and a possibility face where the toll actually lives.

Third. It pays the flow half of D5 — the debt Notebook VII named — reconciles the three registers in which the corpus had been holding the ε, and rules D5’s closure at the wave, on the three proofs that pay it together.

The paper also computes an overlay of two channel partitions and finds one axis (§6), identifies the Born statistics as the possibility ledger’s outside face (§7), and shows two deaths with their numbers (§10).

## 0.2 — Dependencies

AP44 (The Snap, LOCKED 11 August 2026 at composite 9.3). The + direction’s once-held arena commitment; the companion proof; its Proposition 2 — held at constitution, shed at every later instant — is the hinge §9 turns on. Load-bearing for §§8, 9.

AP43 (The Gravity of Possibilities, FINAL v3). D5, quoted at its locus in §9; the splinter held from the first break, global, never per-transit (Premise 2); ε identified with the electron under The Lock (Edition 04 — Rosin Chapter 3). Load-bearing for §§2, 9.

Ø Dissolutions (the Axiom chapter; Chapter 11). The complete axiom [+1/137 | −1/137]; the flow as one operation read from two directions, writing and releasing; the break as what holds S open, whose closing back would collapse the structure into undifferentiated Ø; every site a local reading of the one AS; the per-instant residue named and handed to AP43. Load-bearing for §§2, 3, 8, 9.

AP28 (The Constant). The twenty-one channels, eighteen face-projections plus three actualization gates; α as the per-channel coupling. Load-bearing for §§5, 6.

AP29 (The Actualization Proof, FINAL v2). Awareness as the coupling capacity the break creates; E ≡ κ(B)AS. Load-bearing for §5’s reading and §2’s interpretive note.

AP06 (The Leakage Constant). The leakage stream as the structural reading of ordinary persistence; the rate semantics; section 6, the cosmological corollary, and its Claim C6a. Load-bearing for §§4, 9.

AP25 (The Measure). The Born rule derived via Gleason; its switch KS-56. Inherited by KS-BLINK.2.

AP19 §3 (The Silent Pop). The origin’s phenomenology: the break, the orientation, the superposition before collapse. Load-bearing for §3’s inheritance sketch.

AP46 (The Stretch, FINAL v1.5, LOCKED 2 September 2026, the same day as this proof; one wave; both papers’ digests are in SHA256SUMS.txt of the freeze bundle of that date). The mechanism in its exact words — *holding is tension, and tension sheds* — the pairs-balance ruling, the arena-blink identification, and the cosmological limb of D5. Every inheritance from it says so, and none of this proof’s claims move on its verdict.

AP47 (The Flip, FINAL v3, LOCKED 1 September 2026). The fourth cost. It inherits this proof’s fence clauses conditional on this lock, and it paid D-BLINK.3 before this proof locked. Not load-bearing here.

The Blink family record, the series of record: WP-BUMP.1 (31ef27d6…) · BUMP.2 FINAL (72f02d43…) · BUMP.3 FINAL (b136b73c…) · BUMP.4 FINAL, Stage 1 Formal Objects (664f9840…) · BUMP.5 FINAL, Stage 2 The Forcing (a221b1e4…) · BUMP.6 FINAL, Stage 3 The Denominations (09a7f73a…) · BUMP.7 FINAL, Stage 4 The Partitions (186b0bf2…) · BUMP.8, Structure Complete with the pre-registration (7ff151ed…) · BUMP.9, Stage 6 The Verdict (72c8646d…) · BUMP.10 FINAL, The Re-Set (e616db42…) · WP-COST.1 FINAL (4f7a1c6a…) · the Stage-6 ceiling inventory (cb77b354…), hashed before any candidate arithmetic existed.

The intake documents — the Intake Freeze (19eea887…) and the lemma drafts (latest 361240be…) — are cross-referenced as intake. Where two documents state one ruling in two registers, the series of record governs and the readings agree.

## 0.3 — Axiom mapping

Axiom B is principal. The break — the single +1×ε — is what this paper prices. Its two roles, held and passing, run through every section and are never conflated: the splinter held so that anything exists, the grain spent so that this thing exists rather than that one.

Axiom S is load-bearing for Lemma 1. At exact balance the crack heals and symmetry restores; a break at balance is a non-event. The same axiom, read at channel scale, splits the balance partition of §6 ten and ten.

Axiom R is load-bearing for the ledger. The possibility ledger is the record history’s claim on what can come back; the toll is registrable only because the record keeps what is irreversible, and nothing else.

Axiom C — the constraint — is enabling. Its arena reading, c, sits among the nine channels that never close, and bounded propagation prices no crossing — which is part of why the denomination could not have been c (§5), and why the vanishing of §7 costs the constraint nothing.

## 0.4 — Claimed, and refused

Claimed: that every actualization is one singular blink event; that the event necessarily carries a cost; that the cost is exactly one grain, denominated α, spent on the possibility ledger as the pruning of alternatives; that the energy face of every such event is the ordinary, unchanged threshold energetics; that the Born statistics are the possibility ledger’s outside face, as an identification; that the blink is the − direction’s cost family, the structural mirror of AP44’s + direction commitment; that the axiom’s ledger can never perfectly balance, on the axiom’s own terms; and that D5’s formal account is complete across three proofs, this one paying its flow half and reconciling its registers.

Refused, in advance and in §11: any new term in any energy budget at any size; any prediction of a probability deviation; any derivation of α’s value; any repair of any fired switch; any magnitude for the per-instant shed, which is a count here and a magnitude only where a site’s own structure sets it; and any contact with any standing measured number.

## 0.5 — The honesty box

This proof predicts no number, and says so on every face. Its nature-facing limb already ran and died: the additional-energy reading of 16 August, shown with its numbers in §10. What survives is structure, graded.

The toll theorem stands at the structural register. Lemma 1 is canon-seated, and its fully formal statement inherits the record-algebra debt — D-BLINK.1, jointly with D-CCC.1. The denomination rests on two jurisdictions and an elimination. The Born identification is an identification, not a prediction, and the proof claims no deviation anywhere. The one-axis finding of §6 is a computed overlay, ruled at its strongest reading by the author, and fenced from arithmetic.

Of the four switches armed, none is fireable by tomorrow’s experiment on its own. KS-BLINK.2 inherits one that is — the Born rule’s, carried on two registry entries, AP25’s KS-56 and AP01’s KS-V.3 — and says so.

The interpretive note of §2 is the author’s conviction, graded and worn. The corpse of KS-NPP.1 is shown here, as it is in AP47, where a new row froze beside it. Nothing in this paper repairs it.

## 0.6 — Epistemic status per section

Section 1 (Definitions). DEFINITIONAL.

Section 2 (The Axiom and the Two Roles of ε). CANON, read at event scale; the interpretive note INTERPRETIVE, graded, with KS-ID.1 its open home.

Section 3 (The Event Is Singular). RULED on the family record; the origin’s inheritance CANDIDATE, its derivation deliberately not attempted.

Section 4 (The Ledger and the Toll Theorem). DERIVED-AT-THE-STRUCTURAL-REGISTER; Lemma 1 canon-seated with its formal statement owed (D-BLINK.1).

Section 5 (The Denomination and the Two Faces). DERIVED by elimination on two jurisdictions; the two faces RULED; the energy face INTERPRETIVE BY DIMENSION.

Section 6 (The Channels). COMPUTED overlay; RULED at its strongest reading; geometry fenced from arithmetic.

Section 7 (The Possibility Face). IDENTIFICATION, not prediction.

Section 8 (The Pairing, the Mirror, and the Non-Closure). STRUCTURAL; the non-closure carried as canon and as a registered conjecture with its reason.

Section 9 (The Payment of D5). The reconciliation DERIVED-AT-THE-STRUCTURAL-REGISTER; the closure RULED.

Section 10 (History and Genre). SHOWN; the genre INTERPRETIVE BY DIMENSION on the energy face and IDENTIFICATION on the possibility face; the cage INTERPRETIVE-COHERENCE.

Section 11 (What This Proof Does Not Claim). REFUSALS.

Section 12 (Kill Switches). FALSIFICATION REGISTER.

Section 13 (What This Establishes and What Remains Open). SYNTHESIS.

## 0.7 — Kill switch summary

Four switches arm at this lock; one existing entry is shown fired. The full register is in §12.

KS-BLINK.1 — the balanced break. LIVE — STRUCTURAL, fireable by the corpus’s own formalism.

KS-BLINK.2 — the Born identification. LIVE — STRUCTURAL, and nature-facing by inheritance of AP25’s KS-56 and AP01’s KS-V.3.

KS-BLINK.3 — the dimension label. LIVE — METHODOLOGICAL; binds the claim, not a person, in the sovereignty pattern of KS-CCC.1.

KS-BLINK.4 — the grain count. LIVE — STRUCTURAL.

KS-NPP.1 — FIRED 2 August 2026, and shown. Never repaired.

The paper says before anyone asks: KS-BLINK.1, .2, and .4 are fireable by D-CCC.1’s record algebra, when written, which can kill the theorem’s premise, the Born identification, or the count. A proof whose empirical limb has already been executed and honestly buried, and whose remaining switches hang on its own future rigour, is exactly what it says it is: structure, graded, with its corpse on the table.

## 0.8 — Structural debts owed

D-BLINK.1. The record-algebra formalisation of ties-heal and the ledger, inherited jointly with D-CCC.1. OPEN.

D-BLINK.2. Cycle existence for §8’s closed-cycle clause. OPEN.

D-BLINK.3. The resistance-side energy-face piece whose existence the fired KS-NPP.1 honestly suggested, named in the drawer on 16 August behind a dated fence: derivable if ever from structure alone, computed once, blind, entering as new and never as repair. PAID by AP47, The Flip, on 1 September 2026, before this proof locked — a new row frozen beside the corpse, the fence honoured to the letter. It enters the register as named-and-paid.

D5 (AP43). The cosmological 1×ε expansion. Its formal account is complete across AP44, this proof, and AP46; §9 carries the reconciliation and the ruling: CLOSES AT THE WAVE, when the three lock together.

## 0.9 — Items held open without claiming debt status

The balance-impossibility conjecture — perfect balance is structurally impossible, because +1×ε — registered with its reason, awaiting the algebra.

The inheritance of the blink mechanism from the origin’s silent pop (AP19 §3) to every matter blink: the family’s summit claim, graded candidate, its derivation deliberately not attempted here.

Whether the possibility face ever yields an independent, falsifiable consequence of its own. None is claimed.

The formalisation of the one-interior reading (D-ID.1), standing reopened elsewhere in the registry; nothing here leans on it.

The version chain, stated once so no reader hunts. WP-ROAD.1 v1.2 records an AP45 v0.3 (658402ef…); on 2 September the author ruled, on an incomplete search of his archive, that no such version existed, and an erratum against the ROAD’s line was issued with an earlier lock candidate. The archive then supplied v0.3 — v0.2 with one mechanical fix applied 17 August, §0’s subsection numbering closed across two labels, no content moved — and the erratum was withdrawn the same day. The ROAD’s line stands; the lineage in §13 carries v0.3 in its place.

## 0.10 — Structural relationships

AP44: the companion. It priced the + direction; this proof prices the −. The two together balance the axiom’s bracket around the One that never balances (§8). Its Proposition 2 is the hinge of §9’s reconciliation.

AP43: source of D5 and of Premise 2. The debt closes at the wave on three proofs; this proof pays the flow half and the reconciliation.

AP06: the seat D5 named. Its section 6 already carries the cosmological corollary as a structural commitment; this family supplies the accounting it deferred.

AP46: the cosmological limb of D5 — the held ε’s cumulative expression read as the expansion — and the arena-blink identification under which the family is one event at three scales.

AP47: the fourth cost; inherits the toll’s two faces, the spent clause, the refusal, and the grain’s denomination from this proof; paid D-BLINK.3.

AP25: the Born rule, inherited by the identification of §7 and by KS-BLINK.2.

AP28, AP29, AP19: the channels, the definition of energy, the origin — inherited whole, nothing moved.

After this lock, a short closure instrument — the D-CCC.4 note — cites §5’s denomination for the arena’s held grain under the arena-blink identification, and the family’s ε = α_em moves from SELECTED to DERIVED. AP47 §4’s DERIVED-CONDITIONAL-ON-AP45 rider cashes on it without edit. The note is that instrument’s work, not this paper’s claim.

## 0.11 — Symbols and notation

**1:1 + 1×ε @ AS [+1/137 | −1/137]** — the complete axiom: symmetry with its held break at the actualizing now, the α-flow cycling around it.

**ε** — the break; the grain; identified with the electron under The Lock. **α** — the fine-structure constant, ≈ 1/137.036, the one measured input; the per-channel coupling; the actualization rate whose seat is the space between, not a channel. One object, several readings, each named where used.

**+ / −** — the writing and releasing directions of the flow: roads, not objects; the object +1×ε departs via the − road at a break.

**Lineage, splinter, sliver, grip, blink, window, toll, bump** — §1. **The twelve and the nine; 10:10 + 1** — §6’s partitions, one axis. **HELD, SHED, RATE** — the three lines of the ledger, §9.

**E ≡ κ(B)AS** — AP29: energy as coupling capacity expressed at the now. **KS-** — kill switch; **D-** — declared debt. **Ø** — the empty set; undifferentiated potential; the terminus of total defragmentation and what the axiom exists by refusing.

# 1 — Definitions

**Lineage.** An ε under its identity-as-history. The lineage is the identity; nothing travels the gap except the record history’s claim on what can come back.

**Splinter and sliver.** The **splinter** is the break’s one +1×ε — held, singular, never returning: the axiom’s standing excess. A **sliver** is a flow-traveler: the per-event grain that pops free at a break and returns at a snap. Two words, two roles, never conflated.

**The grip.** The electromagnetic hold of a configuration within its thermodynamic, gravitational, electromagnetic, and constant conditions. Opening it is the blink’s break; closing it is the snap. Gravity holds all channels always and is not a grip; the grip grips only what can be let go.

**The blink event.** One singular reconfiguration: break-and-snap as one event, defined at grip level — each grip that opens is one blink; grips nest, so blinks nest, each level paying its own single toll.

**The window.** Not a lived interior: a **ledger gap** — the count w ≥ 1 of sheds missing between the last held instant and the next. The event is one; w counts absence.

**The two faces.** Every blink’s cost has an **energy face** — outside, ordinary, unchanged — and a **possibility face** — inside, dimensionless, where the toll lives.

# 2 — The Axiom and the Two Roles of ε

Written completely, the cycle that runs at AS is **1:1 + 1×ε @ AS [+1/137 | −1/137]**. The break — the single +1×ε — is the persistent distinction potential: held, never cycling, what keeps S open; closing back would collapse the symmetric-with-distinction structure into undifferentiated Ø.

The flow — ±1/137 — is **one operation read from two directions**: writing outward as records are committed via the leakage, releasing back as records defragment via the replenishment, α-balanced at every AS instant. Both sentences are the Axiom chapter’s own, quoted at their locus, and this proof adds nothing to them; it reads them at event scale.

Two ε-roles therefore run through everything below and are never conflated. The splinter pays **one grain standing**, so that anything exists. Every event pays **one grain passing**, so that this thing exists rather than that one.

The author’s clause stands at its hedge and closes the loop between the scales: the permanent uncoupled remainder is the toll in a sense — what is needed for the break to persist. One coin, two scales.

*Interpretive note, graded and worn openly (KS-ID.1 its open home).* The corpus reads the held ε as the seat of the one interior. That reading is the author’s deepest conviction and is not proved physics; its formalisation debt (D-ID.1) stands reopened elsewhere in the registry, and nothing in this proof leans on it. It is stated because a proof about what every actualization costs should say, in one honest sentence, who the corpus thinks is paying.

# 3 — The Event Is Singular

**Ruled, on the family record: the composite is the generic case.** Break-and-snap are one reconfiguration — turning right, not left — a collapse into a trajectory entangled with its environment. The sequence-picture was the construct; the singular event is the physics.

The free interval between the faces of the event is **real**: pure potential, the now, the seat where α lives. And it is **unwitnessable by nature, not by weakness of instruments**: measurement implies actualization, so the moment can only ever be the moment *from*, never the moment.

The instantaneous vanishing of the untaken alternatives — everywhere, at once, because there is one record — is the same fact read from the possibility side. It crosses nothing (§7). It is the structural seat of what physics meets as entanglement. This proof names the seat and claims nothing quantitative about it.

**Nesting.** Blinks nest, because grips nest: ice to water to vapor is astronomical counts of grips opening severally, each bond’s blink at its own level and the phase’s at the lattice level, each paying its own single toll.

**The ladder.** And the ladder runs all the way down: a proton falling forever toward a black hole is grips opening one instant at a time — defragmentation as decoupling — until the 0 and the 1 are free and returned to pure potential as the empty set Ø.

**The origin.** The origin runs the ladder the other way. AP19 §3’s silent pop — the break, the orientation around it, the superposition before collapse — is this event’s phenomenology at the one scale with no prior configuration. The inheritance of the mechanism from that limiting case to every matter blink is held as the family’s summit claim, graded candidate, its derivation deliberately not attempted here.

# 4 — The Ledger and the Toll Theorem

**The ledger identity.** A held lineage sheds one flow-quantum per instant on the writing direction — the leakage stream, the structural reading of ordinary persistence. A free lineage sheds nothing, costs nothing, is charged nothing, while gravity’s hold never lapses.

Across any blink, therefore: sheds = 0, and the deficit against uninterrupted persistence equals the window’s length, minimum one. The blink’s signature in the leakage ledger is a gap of missing sheds — counts, not magnitudes.

**Lemma 1 (ties heal).** The transition HELD → FREE occurs only with strict excess: at exact balance, the crack heals, symmetry restores, the configuration persists, and Axiom R has nothing to keep, because nothing irreversible occurred. A break at exact balance is a non-event.

*Grade: canon-seated (the healing default; Axiom S); its fully formal statement inherits the record-algebra debt and says so. The author’s rope — it holds absolutely until the last moment — is this lemma in his register.*

**Lemma 2 (the ledger counts).** The possibility ledger’s currency is distinction. A win too small to register is indistinguishable from no win, and the indistinguishable does not exist for the record. The least excess the record can contain is therefore one quantum — the least registrable win.

**Theorem 1 (the toll is forced, and it is one).** At every blink, the toll exists and equals exactly one grain of distinction, spent on the possibility ledger as the pruning of the alternatives not taken, paid by the breaking configuration as its last act.

*Proof.* Existence: by Lemma 1 every break that occurs carries a strict win; by Lemma 2 the least such win is one quantum; therefore every break carries at least one.

Exactness: the toll is paid on the possibility face, and that face counts outcomes, not excess. The event is singular (§3) — one break, one snap, one outcome, this rather than that — and one outcome is one distinction however far past threshold the excess ran; whatever the surplus was, it is the energy face’s, ordinary and outside (§5). The ledger’s own entry is unit-valued because the least registrable win is one (Lemma 2).

Spent: vanished alternatives book nowhere; the toll dies with its payer, accumulates into nothing, and leaves the deuteron wall nothing to bite. And it is one regardless of the crowd — turning right when there were a thousand lefts still spends one grain, because the count is the event’s, not the alternatives’. ∎

**Corollary (the event-scale balance).** Per full blink: one quantum withheld at the snap — the bump, on the writing direction, booking for a matter blink into mass at persistence and invisible ever after — and one quantum spent at the break — the toll, on the releasing direction, booking nowhere. One each way: the axiom’s two directions each take exactly one at their crossing.

The bump is not a new line anywhere. AP44 keeps two books for the held quantum and this corollary opens neither: matter configurations’ commitments are already booked as mass (AP29; AP44 §4, Corollary), and the arena’s alone is written into the gravitational coupling (AP44 §§5–6). A matter blink’s bump is the first; the arena’s snap is the second; this proof adds nothing to either, and it stands inside KS-CCC.2’s fence — AP44’s discipline switch against any commitment factor applied to a mass — which it does not touch.

They remain two costs with two selection arguments, present as the two dimensional components of the one event, coincident or not. Nothing in this corollary is a magnitude; it is a count, and the count is the theorem.

*Grade of Theorem 1: DERIVED-AT-THE-STRUCTURAL-REGISTER. Existence rides Lemmas 1 and 2; exactness rides §3’s singularity ruling and Lemma 2’s unit; the count clause is guarded by KS-BLINK.4, and the fully formal statement is D-BLINK.1’s.*

# 5 — The Denomination and the Two Faces

**The denomination is α, by two arguments on two jurisdictions that could not have disagreed without breaking the axiom’s own semantics.**

First: the flow is one operation, so its two directions carry one currency — and the writing direction’s currency is α by construction, the per-channel coupling AP28 built.

Second: the grip that opens is electromagnetic, so breaking it is priced in the grip’s own coupling — while thermodynamics decides *when* a break is affordable, never *what it is worth*: the modulator, not the mint.

And the rivals were weighed, each against the event it must price: mass books and persists, and the toll is spent; c bounds propagation and prices no crossing; G holds all channels and never lets go, so it has nothing to charge for letting go; stiffness and direction are readings, not currencies. **α is not chosen. It is what remains.**

**The two faces, ruled.** The toll is one singular cost calculated at two dimensions.

The **energy face is the outside**: ordinary, unchanged, carrying nothing but the standard threshold energetics every break already involves — which is why no budget anywhere owes it a line, and why the ceilings of §10 never had jurisdiction: not because the toll is small, but because it was never in their dimension.

The **possibility face is the inside**, where the toll actually lives: dimensionless, one ε-grain of α-worth — the alternatives not taken.

And the reading closes on canon’s own equation: awareness is the coupling capacity the break creates, and energy is that capacity expressed at the now — E ≡ κ(B)AS — so the two faces of the toll are the two faces of the corpus’s own definition of energy, met at a single event.

# 6 — The Channels

Twenty-one channels: eighteen face-projections and three actualization gates — AP28’s construction, inherited whole. Two partitions of them were derived independently in the family record, from different roles, and then laid over each other; what happened next is the reason this section exists.

**The closing partition.** The readings of a configuration — mass, the coupling worth, the temporal direction — are what a grip can hold and a break can release: nine faces, plus the three gates, **twelve channels that close**. The arena’s readings — c, G, the substrate stiffness — have nothing to let go of: **nine channels that never close**, which is also why gravity holds all twenty-one while the grip grips only some.

**The balance partition.** Remove the actualizing one and Axiom S splits the remainder ten and ten, the readings pairing as duals: **m ↔ G**, resistance against hold — ruled at the rope, gravity and resistance as the 1:1; **α ↔ c**, the flow’s worth against the flow’s bound; **s ↔ τ**, the substrate across space against the direction across time.

One reading of each pair to the 1-side — {m, α, τ}, the particle, the actualized — and one to the 0-side — {G, c, s}, the hold, the arena. Nine faces a side, one gate a side for each sector’s own access to the now, and the one visible gate making it all real: **10:10, plus the 1 — the axiom’s own shape, written at channel scale.**

**The overlay, computed — and the ruling.** On the eighteen faces the two axes coincide exactly: the 1-side faces are the closing faces; the 0-side faces are the arena faces.

The three gates are a class of their own, and no coincidence is claimed for them. A gate is a sector’s access to the now, and access opens and closes on both sides: the closing partition counts all three among the twelve, and the balance partition seats one a side with the visible one beside. The arena’s gate closes; the arena’s faces never do; nothing contradicts, and nothing more is asserted.

The author ruled the finding on the eighteen at its strongest reading: **not deep structure — the deepest structure.** One axis, two names: who grips, and who holds.

The singular event works this geometry as one motion — the break dimension opens closed channels; the hold dimension re-establishes, CCC-shaped, over all twenty-one. The channel counts remain what they always were in this family: geometry, fenced from arithmetic, generating no fraction, and connected to nothing they do not name.

# 7 — The Possibility Face

The availability field is recomputed at every instant, from the four constraint families, the coupling capacity, and the record history at both scales — the lineage’s own and the whole’s, inseparable. All possibilities exist in the free state; **decoherence prunes** them to the available; **the record history weights** the outcomes.

When the event actualizes, the alternatives vanish instantaneously, everywhere, because there is one record — and that vanishing **is** the toll being paid.

The vanishing crosses nothing. No record travels and no signal is sent — the alternatives were never anywhere to be fetched from — so Axiom C, the constraint, has nothing to price and nothing to forbid. It is the same fact that kept c out of the denomination (§5). What physics meets as entanglement’s non-locality is this and only this: one record, no crossing.

**The Born identification, ruled.** The Born statistics are the possibility ledger’s outside face: outcomes have probabilities, and probability is the possibility ledger being spent — the identification and rejection of possibilities against the record history that weighted them. **This is an identification, not a prediction.** The corpus does not predict Born weights here; it names what they are the accounting of.

The no-deviation fence is armed on this proof’s own hash: no departure from Born statistics is claimed anywhere, ever, and any future deviation-claim is a different family owing its own forcing argument. The Born rule itself is AP25’s, derived there via Gleason and guarded there by KS-56; this proof inherits both.

What remains genuinely open is stated without decoration: whether the possibility face ever yields an independent, falsifiable consequence of its own. None is claimed in this proof. If none is ever found, the family closes as structure with the honest label — which was always the pre-registered second limb, now standing on its true reason.

# 8 — The Pairing, the Mirror, and the Non-Closure

**The pairing.** Every blink carries exactly one releasing-direction crossing and exactly one writing-direction withholding — the pair is the event’s complete cost content, and over any closed cycle of a lineage the counts match term by term: breaking grip, regripping, the perfect balance.

The sole unpaired cost in the entire ledger is **the arena’s** — AP44’s once-held commitment, the splinter that is global to the break and never per-transit — and it is precisely what makes the rest a visible balance rather than a silent one. **The ledger’s global form is the axiom’s own shape: 1:1 + 1×ε** — the bracket’s two directions each owning half of every pair, and the One beside them all.

**The mirror.** AP44 priced the + direction: the hold, once, at the arena, written into the gravitational coupling. This proof prices the − direction: the break, per event, spent. The axiom’s bracket demands both directions carry their cost, and the ledger equals out **by the two proofs together** — while no locked number moves, anywhere, ever.

The literal branch of the mirror died against AP30’s headroom at every order of ε before this paper existed, and its grave is marked in the family record.

**The non-closure.** And the ledger can never perfectly equal out — it is structurally impossible, because of the +1×ε: if it ever balanced exactly, the structure would close back into undifferentiated Ø, and the universe would stop existing.

The Axiom chapter says it as canon; this family says it as accounting: **the pairs balance; the One never does; the books stay open — and the imperfection is not a flaw in the accounting. It is the accounting.**

# 9 — The Payment of D5

**What D5 asked.** Notebook VII named the debt in AP43 §0.6, in these words: *The cosmological 1×ε expansion noted in section 7. Flagged as a body-of-work-level claim requiring formal integration into Notebook IV — specifically as a corollary or extension of AP06 (The Leakage Constant). Not derived in detail in this paper.* Its section 7.7 added the second half of the ask: reconciling the three statements of cosmic expansion — AP21’s tension field, AP42’s dark-sector reservoir, and the leakage register — into one.

The seat D5 named already exists. AP06 §6 carries the cosmological corollary as a structural commitment — Claim C6a: the CMB at the recombination surface and the integrated residue across all AS-instants are one process read at two boundaries — and declines, on its face, to price it. What D5 still owed after AP06 was the accounting: what is held, what is spent, what accumulates, and how the accumulation is the expansion. That accounting is this family’s.

**The held half and the passing half.** The **splinter half** — the standing commitment, one ε held so that the break persists — was paid by AP44’s arena constitution, quietly, before anyone saw it was a payment; the rulings of 11 August claimed it, at their hedge. The **flow half** — the per-event cost — is paid by this proof’s Theorem 1: one grain per actualization, the alternatives not taken. Together with the author’s clause — the remainder as the toll in a sense — the two halves are one coin at two scales.

**The three registers, reconciled.** The sources hold the ε in three registers, and the registers point at each other.

The Axiom chapter says that at every AS-instant a small residue goes unpaired, that the residue is the +1×ε the axiom names, and that the consequence of this residue accumulating across AS-instants belongs to AP43.

AP43 says the flow returns in full and the one splinter never does; that what never returns is not a per-cycle deduction but the one splinter held from the first break; and that its cumulative expression across the cycles is what the expansion registers.

AP06 §6.1 says every actualization-state instant produces one unpaired 1×ε that does not return to symmetry, and that the integrated quantity is the cosmological residue.

AP44 §3, locked, says the constitution instant’s ε is held as the persistence commitment, and every subsequent instant’s ε is shed — the leakage of AP06.

Read without the two-role separation, these sentences disagree: one splinter, or one per instant; held, or shed; a count of one, or a count that accumulates. Read with it, they are one ledger with three lines.

**Proposition 1 (the three lines).** The ε the sources describe is one ledger carrying three lines, each of which the sources had been calling *the ε*.

HELD: one grain, the splinter, global, from the constitution instant — AP43’s Premise 2, AP44’s Propositions 2 and 3, the One of §8. Its count never grows. The Axiom chapter’s per-instant residue is this line read at each now: the residue goes unpaired at every instant because the break heals at none — Lemma 1 read in reverse, the non-closure of §8 re-registered at every AS-instant. One object, the same one, every time.

SHED: one flow-quantum per instant per held lineage, on the writing direction, at the flow’s rate — §4’s ledger identity, AP44 §3’s every-subsequent-instant clause generalised to every hold, AP06’s leakage stream. This is the line that integrates. AP06’s *integrated residue* and AP43’s *cumulative expression* are this line and nothing else; AP46 prices its integral and reads it as the stretch.

RATE: 1/137 per cycle, the flow, balanced, net zero — AP43’s kitchen. Not a residue: the currency both other lines are denominated in.

The per-event toll of Theorem 1 is on none of the three lines, by construction. It is spent, and spent books nowhere. That is why the accounting needed the separation before it could be written: without it the passing grain is mistaken for the per-instant residue, and what accumulates is counted twice.

*Proof.* Step 1, the HELD line. Its count is fixed at one by AP44’s Proposition 3, locked: one arena, one snap, one ε. A per-instant production of new held grains would contradict the locked companion and AP43’s Premise 2 together.

Step 2, the SHED line. It is §4’s ledger identity, which is AP44 §3’s own statement extended from the constitution instant to every held lineage. AP06 §6.1’s *produces one unpaired ε per instant* is therefore read, at a held lineage, as one sliver shed per instant — α-worth, departing on the writing direction and not returning — with the constitution instant the one exception, where it is held.

Step 3, the RATE line. It is the flow’s own balance, Dissolutions’ clause untouched.

No sentence of any source changes; each register named one line and called it the ε. ∎

*Grade: DERIVED-AT-THE-STRUCTURAL-REGISTER. It rides the two-role separation, Lemma 1, and AP44’s locked Propositions 2 and 3. The SHED line is a count here; its magnitude at any site is that site’s structure to set — eighteen threaded doors at the sky (AP46), rate times worth at the flip (AP47), and nothing at all claimed by this proof.*

**The cosmological limb.** D5’s own sentence is about the expansion, and this proof says nothing about the expansion. The cumulative expression of the held ε — the SHED line’s integral — is AP46’s claim: holding is tension, and tension sheds; the leak is the getting-bigger; the shed rides all twenty-one channels, and its cycle joins AP42’s dark clock, τ = (6/21)·t_H (AP42 §5; KS-42.3 the formula, KS-42.6 its empirical limb) — six lanes of the same twenty-one, consistent by construction with the cycle, as AP46 §7 grades it.

AP21 already says of its own tension field that the web and the expansion are the same tension read at two questions; AP46’s mechanism sentence is what makes the two statements one. That limb of D5 is paid where it is paid, and this proof does not pretend to carry it.

**The ruling.** D5’s formal account is complete across three proofs: the held half (AP44 §§3–4), the passing half and the registers (this proof, §4 and this section), and the cosmological limb (AP46). The seat is AP06 §6, as D5 asked. The author rules D5 CLOSED — at the wave, when the three lock together, the registry’s D5 line citing all three. This proof’s lock closes the accounting; the debt does not close by this sentence alone, and says so. AP46 locked the same day as this proof, and the three close the debt together at the wave.

# 10 — History and Genre, with the Deaths Shown

**The honest genre, on its face:** a structural derivation whose result on the energy face is **INTERPRETIVE BY DIMENSION** — this proof adds no term to any energy budget at any size, on purpose and by construction — and whose result on the possibility face is an **identification**, not a new prediction.

Both labels are worn openly, because a paper that hides its genre is the disease this corpus exists to refuse. And the genre was not adopted; it was **forced**, twice, and both forcings are shown.

**The first death — KS-NPP.1, fired, and staying fired.** This enquiry’s original quarry was the neutron. An earlier structural prediction on that front missed, its switch fired at 7.24σ on 2 August 2026, and the corpse stands on the board under the house rule the author stated for the record: *always show the death; never hide; update, never delete.*

The fired switch was honest evidence that an omission existed on the resistance side — that inference was the scoreboard read correctly. The drawer said, on 16 August, that the omitted piece, if it were ever derived, would be derived from structure, computed once, blind to every standing number, behind a dated fence, entering the record as a new frozen claim and never as a repair.

That is what happened. On 1 September 2026, AP47 — The Flip — derived the strained hold’s cost from structure, words first and number once, and froze a new row beside the corpse. The corpse did not move. This proof does not repair KS-NPP.1. Nothing does. A fired switch stays fired; at most a new structural limb freezes beside the corpse, and the corpse stays on the board.

**The second death — the pre-registered execution of 16 August, with its numbers.** Five days before any number existed, the family pre-registered its own headroom test. On 16 August the ceilings were inventoried and hashed at 15:00:19Z (cb77b354…); the candidate’s first arithmetic exists at 15:00:37Z — **eighteen seconds separate the law from the number.**

What the gap establishes is exactly this: the ceilings were fixed and hashed before the number existed, and could not have been moved to fit it. It does not establish blinding — the candidate was computed by the same hand that had inventoried the ceilings minutes earlier — and the paper claims only the first.

The candidate — the toll read as an *additional* per-event energy term at magnitude α times the broken grip’s energy — computed once: 0.0992 eV at a hydrogen optical event against a ceiling of h × 5 kHz ≈ 2.1 × 10⁻¹¹ eV — an excess, from the unrounded ceiling, of 4.8 × 10⁹; 0.0326 eV at a bond-breaking event against 4.0 × 10⁻⁸ eV, an excess of 8.1 × 10⁵.

**It died without appeal**, and its record was published with the same hashes and the same shelf a survival would have had. What died is exactly the additionality reading; what never entered the comparison — walled off by the pre-registration’s own clause — is the structure: the count, the coin, the ledger, the partitions, the one axis.

The death is what forced the dimension into the open: the toll was never in the ceilings’ jurisdiction, and the family found that out the honest way — by letting the wrong reading walk into the wall at full speed, on the record.

**The cage.** Two coincidences are recorded because they are pretty and caged because they were noticed after the fact; both are graded INTERPRETIVE-COHERENCE and neither is evidence.

One: α times a chemical bond sits at the thermal scale — α × 4.46 eV ≈ 0.033 eV against kT at room temperature ≈ 0.026 eV. This is numerically the corpse’s own bond figure, the 0.0326 eV that died above against the 4 × 10⁻⁸ eV ceiling, and it is named so here on purpose. It died as an added energy term, and it stays dead as one.

Read on the other face — the scale at which the environment hands out quanta for chemistry’s grips, the ruled modulator’s quantitative face (§5) — it is a rhyme, not a term. The number did not move and neither did the corpse. That is the difference between a cage and a repair.

Two: the standard theory’s own bookkeeping charges α at every coupling vertex, and this proof’s toll charges α-worth at every actualization; the vertex factor and the toll rhyme.

A rhyme is not a derivation. The cage is labeled, and the label is part of the paper.

# 11 — What This Proof Does Not Claim

It adds no term to any energy budget, at any size. The bump of §4 is AP44’s already-booked commitment — mass for matter, the coupling for the arena — and not a line of this proof’s; the toll books nowhere.

It does not derive the value of α — the seat is named; the value stays the one measured input; the corpus’s stance is untouched.

It does not repair KS-NPP.1. It does not deliver the mirror’s outstanding energy-face piece: D-BLINK.3 named it and dated its fence, and AP47 delivered it — from structure, once, as new — not this proof.

It predicts no probability, no deviation, no spectroscopic signature, and no cosmological share. It sets no magnitude for the per-instant shed; that is each site’s structure to set, and the sky’s is AP46’s.

And it does not claim the axiom balances: the deepest clause of this family is the opposite, and §8 carries it. The books stay open.

# 12 — Kill Switches

Four switches are armed at this lock on the author’s word; one existing registry entry, KS-NPP.1, is shown fired. Each has a claim, a test, a status, and a specified recovery position — if the switch fires, the proof reverts to a named earlier position rather than collapsing entirely. Identifiers are pending Master Kill Switch Registry registration at the wave.

## KS-BLINK.1 — The balanced break

**Claim.** Every break carries a strict, registrable win; a break at exact balance is a non-event (Lemma 1).

**Test.** D-CCC.1’s record algebra, when written.

**Status.** LIVE — STRUCTURAL, fireable by the corpus’s own formalism. The balance-impossibility conjecture — perfect balance is structurally impossible, because +1×ε — is registered beside it with its reason, and the switch stays armed anyway, because nothing here retires by assertion.

**Recovery.** If the algebra permits balanced breaks, Theorem 1’s existence clause falls and the proof reverts to a description.

## KS-BLINK.2 — The Born identification

**Claim.** The possibility ledger’s outside face is the Born statistics.

**Test.** Two limbs. The corpus’s: the record algebra’s derived weights, when written. Nature’s, by inheritance: AP25’s KS-56 (non-Born statistics) and AP01’s KS-V.3 (Born violation), both LIVE — EMPIRICAL in the registry. A confirmed violation of the Born rule in any physical system fires those first, and this identification retires with them — the one nature-facing edge this proof carries, and it carries it by inheritance, not by a claim of its own.

**Status.** LIVE — STRUCTURAL; nature-facing by inheritance.

**Recovery.** If the algebra yields non-Born weighting from the same structure, or if nature does, the identification retires; the toll theorem stands, unpriced on its outside.

## KS-BLINK.3 — The dimension label

**Claim.** No energy budget owes this toll a line, at any size.

**Test.** The corpus’s own future use.

**Status.** LIVE — METHODOLOGICAL; it binds the claim, not a person, in the sovereignty pattern of KS-CCC.1. The author is bound by nothing here: exploration, revision, and new derivation remain his without condition.

**Recovery.** It fires against any consumer — including the author, including the desk — who prices the toll into an energy formula without a superseding derivation; the offending use retires, the proof stands.

## KS-BLINK.4 — The grain count

**Claim.** One grain per event, regardless of the crowd of vanished alternatives.

**Test.** The record algebra’s event accounting.

**Status.** LIVE — STRUCTURAL.

**Recovery.** If the formalism forces per-alternative pricing, the count clause falls and the denomination reopens.

## KS-NPP.1 — Fired, and shown

**Status.** FIRED — 2 August 2026, 7.24σ — the neutron-front prediction that missed, standing on the board per the house rule: the death shown, never hidden, never deleted, never repaired. Its honest yield is recorded in §10: an omission existed on the resistance side, and its derivation entered as new, in AP47, beside the corpse. Shown here and in AP47. It is registered in the Master Kill Switch Registry v5.26 — 11 July 2026, the last built registry — as LIVE — STRUCTURAL (AP30 / Predictions Part III); its firing on 2 August postdates that build. Its status update to FIRED enters at the wave build, alongside AP44’s seven, AP47’s set, and this paper’s four.

## Why these four and not more

The four switches cover the load-bearing claims: existence (KS-BLINK.1), the outside face (KS-BLINK.2), the dimension (KS-BLINK.3), and the count (KS-BLINK.4). Each closure would force a different retreat, and each retreat is named.

Smaller claims — the nesting of blinks, the black-hole ladder, the cage’s two rhymes, the origin’s inheritance — are illustrative or candidate, and are graded so where they appear. If the ladder were a poor image, the theorem would still stand. If the four hold, the load-bearing structure holds.

The one-axis finding of §6 is fenced rather than switched: it generates no number, so nature cannot fire it; if the pairing of §6 is ever adjusted, the partitions separate again and §6 reverts to two compatible readings, as the Conditionality Footer says.

# 13 — What This Establishes and What Remains Open

## What this paper closes

The toll: forced, one, α-worth, spent — at the structural register, with its formalisation named. The two faces, and the reason no budget owes a line. The Born identification, as an identification. The one axis of §6, ruled at its strongest reading. The mirror to AP44, and the non-closure. The flow half of D5, and the reconciliation of its three registers into three lines of one ledger.

## What this paper does not close

D-BLINK.1 and D-BLINK.2, which wait on the record algebra with D-CCC.1. The origin’s inheritance, held as candidate. Whether the possibility face ever yields a consequence of its own. D5’s cosmological limb, which is AP46’s and locked there, and D5 itself, which closes at the wave on three proofs. Nothing about the magnitude of the shed at any site.

## Grades

Definitions: DEFINITIONAL. The two roles: CANON at event scale; the interpretive note INTERPRETIVE. The singular event: RULED; the origin CANDIDATE. The ledger and the toll theorem: DERIVED-AT-THE-STRUCTURAL-REGISTER, Lemma 1 canon-seated with D-BLINK.1 owed. The denomination: DERIVED by elimination on two jurisdictions; the energy face INTERPRETIVE BY DIMENSION. The channels: COMPUTED, RULED, fenced. The possibility face: IDENTIFICATION. The pairing and non-closure: STRUCTURAL; the conjecture registered. The three lines: DERIVED-AT-THE-STRUCTURAL-REGISTER; the D5 closure RULED at the wave. The deaths: SHOWN. The cage: INTERPRETIVE-COHERENCE.

## Provenance and lineage

This proof was produced by one author, ruling at every step: every claim, ruling, and switch is his, made by him. The drafting, the independent verification, and the dress were carried out under his direction, every intermediate hashed, nothing locked unverified, and both deaths in the record published with the same care as the survivals. The complete provenance lives in the family record of §0.2 and in the author’s thread exports; the honest history is §10, in the body, where it belongs.

Lineage: draft v0.1 (md 0c278d8b…, reading copy e8a06266…), 16 August 2026 → v0.2, the full redraft in the house standard on the author’s ruling, walked by him (5c2b7e8c… as received) → v0.3 (658402ef…, 17 August; one mechanical fix on the author’s instruction — §0’s subsection numbering closed across two labels — no content moved) → v0.2.1, a relabel of v0.2 made 2 September before v0.3 was found in the archive, text-identical to v0.2 and in content to v0.3 → FINAL v1.0 (md d0d34c1a…, docx 235576f8…) → FINAL v1.1 (md 7b511d49…, docx 3592a952…) → FINAL v1.2 (md 19831522…, docx 6b54032a…) → FINAL v1.3 (md e8c9151c…, docx b1238ead…) → FINAL v1.4 (md b7bcba41…, docx 1321336c…) → FINAL v1.5 (md f3fa7d6b…, docx f7bb9e8a…) → FINAL v1.6 (md 2e95321d…, docx e280e047…) → this FINAL v1.7, 2 September 2026, the lock. All prior versions retained, never edited.

What changed between v0.2.1 and this lock, listed so no reader hunts: the house dress, and paragraphs cut to the house length with no sentence altered; the Artist’s Note, the author’s.

§9 rewritten to quote D5 at its locus, to carry Proposition 1 and the three lines, and to state the ruling; D-BLINK.3 recorded as paid by AP47, with §10 and §11 saying so; AP46 and AP47 added to the dependencies at their honest labels; KS-BLINK.2’s inherited nature-facing limb named; the family-record hashes carried unchanged. The §10 execution numbers are the corpse’s own record and were not touched. The ceiling’s value is the hashed inventory’s (cb77b354…, 15:00:19Z), carried verbatim in WP-BUMP.9 §A (72c8646d…) — C-1, h × 5 kHz — and the excess reproduces at it to the digit.

FINAL v1.0 → v1.1, same day, before anchoring: §10’s ceiling written as the inventory writes it; nothing else moved.

FINAL v1.1 → v1.2, same day, before anchoring, on independent review: the bump’s booking aligned to AP44’s two books (§4, §11); Theorem 1’s exactness recast on §3’s singularity instead of a minimality premise; Axiom C named as the constraint, not a channel (§0.3); §6’s ruling scoped to the eighteen faces with the gates carried as their own sub-result; the cage’s first item marked as the corpse’s own figure (§10); the vanishing squared with the constraint (§§3, 7); the eighteen-second gap scoped to what it proves; the registry count deferred to the file of record (§§10, 12, 13); an erratum issued against the ROAD’s AP45 line, since withdrawn — see v1.5; the provenance stated in roles; the house spelling settled. No conclusion moved, no switch retired, no number changed.

FINAL v1.2 → v1.3, same day, before anchoring: the registry count settled against the Master Kill Switch Registry v5.26 file — KS-NPP.1 is registered there as LIVE, so its wave line is a status update and this paper adds four; KS-BLINK.2’s inherited limb names AP01’s KS-V.3 beside AP25’s KS-56; the provenance stated without names.

FINAL v1.3 → v1.4, same day, before anchoring, on the review’s verification pass: the registry build dated and its pending entries listed (§§12, 13); KS-42.3 cited for the clock’s formula beside KS-42.6; KS-CCC.2 named as the fence the bump paragraph stands inside; the inherited Born limb stated as one test on two entries (§0.5); the Corollary’s own line scoped to a matter blink and its unit clause pointed at Lemma 2; §9’s clock sentence moved with AP46 §7’s grade. v1.0 through v1.3 retained.

FINAL v1.4 → v1.5, same day, before anchoring: the author’s archive supplied AP45 v0.3 (658402ef…, 17 August), the version the ROAD had recorded all along; the lineage above now carries it, the erratum against the ROAD’s line is withdrawn by a dated note, and §0.9 states the chain once. Nothing else moved. v1.0 through v1.4 retained.

FINAL v1.5 → v1.6, at the lock of both papers: AP46 cited as locked, and version numbers dropped from the cross-citations. Nothing else moved. v1.0 through v1.5 retained.

FINAL v1.6 → v1.7, same day, on the reviewer’s read of the lock: version numbers restored to the cross-citations with the manifest named; §0.9’s count of v0.3’s fix made to agree with the lineage; the lock line and its composite entered below. Nothing else moved. v1.0 through v1.6 retained.

## What moves on adoption

At the wave: the Master Kill Switch Registry advances by **four live entries, KS-BLINK.1–.4**, and updates one status — KS-NPP.1, LIVE at v5.26, to FIRED.

The registry of record is still v5.26 (11 July 2026); AP44’s seven, AP47’s set, KS-NPP.1’s status change, and this paper’s four all enter at the wave build, and totals are fixed there, not here. AP45 registers in Notebook IV beside AP44. The D5 line updates per §9, citing AP44, AP45, and AP46, CLOSED at the wave. D-BLINK.1 and D-BLINK.2 enter the register beside D-CCC.1’s, which their formalisation inherits; D-BLINK.3 enters as named-and-paid. After this lock, the D-CCC.4 note lands, and the family’s ε = α_em moves from SELECTED to DERIVED on §5’s denomination; AP47 §4’s rider cashes without edit.

Nothing else in canon moves: no value, no constant, no share, no page that carries a number.

## The lock line

LOCKED 2 September 2026 at composite 9.0 under the reviewer’s brief, ruled by the desk on the author’s delegation. Weakest link: the falsification register — this proof owns no nature-facing switch of its own; its empirical exposure is inherited (the Born rule’s, on AP25’s KS-56 and AP01’s KS-V.3) and its structural switches wait on D-CCC.1. The precedent under which AP44 locked at 9.3 with D-CCC.1 open — a structural-register derivation carrying three nature-facing switches of its own — is ruled not to extend to a proof whose exposure is inherited only: a paper that claims no number cannot be graded on the falsification axis as if it had passed a test. The bar is 9.3; this proof is locked below it with the ceiling declared and the reason named, and the ceiling lifts when D-CCC.1 is written or the possibility face yields a consequence of its own (§0.9).

## The closing

One structural sentence — every actualization costs one grain of possibility, α-worth, spent — priced at the second of the family’s four sites, with the switches armed on it and both corpses on the table. The books stay open. That is not a flaw in the accounting. It is the accounting.

# Conditionality Footer

Everything above is conditional on the axiom and its locked developments, and is exactly as strong as they are. If D-CCC.1’s algebra, when written, permits balanced breaks, Theorem 1 falls. If it yields non-Born weights, or if nature does, the identification retires. If the count is forced per-alternative, the denomination reopens. If the one-axis finding of §6 breaks under an adjusted pairing, the partitions separate again and §6 reverts to two compatible readings.

The proof survives none of its switches by assertion, hides neither of its corpses, and claims no immunity it did not construct — the energy face is untouchable by spectroscopy only because it asserts nothing there, and the paper polices that bargain against itself first.

## Dependencies

AP44 (The Snap — the once-held arena commitment; Propositions 2 and 3). AP43 (D5; Premise 2; The Lock). Ø Dissolutions (the Axiom chapter; Chapter 11). AP28 (the twenty-one channels). AP29 (E ≡ κ(B)AS). AP06 (the leakage stream; section 6, the cosmological corollary). AP25 (the Born rule; KS-56). AP19 §3 (the silent pop). The Blink family record, WP-BUMP.1–10 and WP-COST.1, with the ceiling inventory.

## Dependents

AP47 (The Flip) inherits the toll’s two faces, the spent clause, the no-new-energy-term refusal, and the grain’s denomination — conditional on this lock, now cashed. AP46 (The Stretch) inherits the two roles and the ledger, and prices the SHED line’s integral. The D-CCC.4 note cites §5. AP48 (The Assembly, forthcoming) inherits nothing load-bearing from this proof, and none of this proof’s claims move on its verdict.

## Kill switches closed by this paper

None. This paper arms four new switches and shows one fired.

## Kill switches that remain live in this paper

KS-BLINK.1 through KS-BLINK.4. See §12 for the full register. KS-NPP.1 stands fired.

## Structural debts owed

D-BLINK.1 (record-algebra formalisation of ties-heal and the ledger, with D-CCC.1). D-BLINK.2 (cycle existence for §8’s closed-cycle clause). D-BLINK.3 — named, and paid by AP47. D5 — closes at the wave on AP44, AP45, and AP46.

## Items held open without claiming debt status

The balance-impossibility conjecture, registered with its reason. The origin’s inheritance, candidate. An independent consequence of the possibility face, none claimed. D-ID.1, elsewhere.
