# AP48 — The Assembly: continuation README

**The 420 Code · Studio G · issued 3 September 2026 · the upload set for the Assembly session**

## The one fact that governs this session

**The derivation has not been written.** What exists is the story — the author's describings, captured in WP-ASM.1: the silent pop, the crack, the settling within the constraints; the hold is global, the happening is gated; the roof; the horse and the handler's twenty-one ropes; storm → lock → standing wave. The author has developed the metaphors and the words over weeks, on the mirrors and windows of his house. **The mathematics has not been written. This session is where the author and the desk think, explore, develop, and write the derivation and the paper — together.**

WP-ASM.1 §5 reads as a verification protocol for a derivation that lands. Read it instead as the protocol the derivation must satisfy as it is built. The desk is inside this one, not outside it — which is why the family's law binds harder here, not softer.

## Working mode

Research mode, as the author ruled on 16 August: no process apparatus unless he asks — no hashes, sidecars, lock lines, read-back forms, decision gates or fence recitals in the flow; documents only on request; honest disagreement stays, delivered conversationally. The provenance machine switches on at his word for publication events only. *All that is important is if nature agrees.*

The family's law, which does not switch off: words first — the structure described in the author's words at their hedges before any symbol; then the structure written; then the number falls out, once, blind to every standing figure; then it freezes. No parameter is fitted. Every count is a count by structure, and each site sets only how many factors of α assemble (α¹⁸ at the sky, α × 21 at the proton, α² at the flip). A miss publishes with the same care as a landing. Nothing fired is repaired. The desk watches the author's tendency to over-constrain his own work and says so when a switch would hurt the code through zeal rather than honesty.

## What is pre-registered before a single line of arithmetic

Hash these at the start of the session, before the derivation begins — the AP45 §10 discipline, applied to a paper the desk is helping to write:

1. **The targets (WP-ASM.1 §3, unsoftened).** The two known era-forms, a ∝ t^½ then a ∝ t^⅔; the transition between them; the nuclei's date (the first minutes); the relic glow. Pass or fail, one line each. This is KS-STRETCH.4's kill surface, registered in AP46 §12.
2. **The H₀ seam (AP46 §9, with its numbers).** Under flat ΛCDM at Ω_m = 0.315: the age at H₀ = 67.4 is 13.80 Gyr; at the corpus's own 74.3 (KS-45.1) it is 12.52 — two lane-times below the cycle. The cycle is (21/18)·α⁻¹⁸·τ_C = 13.830 Gyr; one lane-time is 0.66 Gyr; KS-STRETCH.3's window is 13.17–14.49. The corpus holds a high H₀ and a one-cycle age that the standard history says cannot both be true. AP48 must derive the age–H₀ relation that reconciles them — the settled beat, the storm's tail, today's rate — or one edge of the family fires: KS-45.1 or KS-STRETCH.3. Read as a rate the chain would give 70.7; the expected direction is today's rate above the settled beat, the tail still adding; the magnitude is this paper's to derive.
3. **The beat junction (WP-ASM.1 §5, item 4).** The derivation's late limit must land on the Stretch's settled beat.
4. **The awareness window (AP46 §0.9, held open).** Why an aware observer sits within a lane of one cycle. Not owed; if it falls out, it falls out.

## The inputs the derivation must answer (WP-ASM.1 §4, A–E)

A — the storm's variable (the three-rulers candidate: c rules the unroofed run, G rules the reigning, the beat rules the walk; "gravity had to catch up" as the first handover). B — stages or smooth: the rope-gathering order, discrete gathers mapping to era transitions. C — the crack's residue and whether its processing thins as the room grows. D — what the catch-up crosses: distance, channels, or census. E — the storm's clock: whether the electron tick paces the storm too.

## What AP48 inherits, and from where

From AP46 (FINAL v1.5, locked): D-STRETCH.1 (the settling law; load-bearing for KS-STRETCH.3); KS-STRETCH.4 (registered here on AP48's behalf); the settling tail of the w stance (a hold still settling sheds less as it locks — w > −1 late — while AP42's sourced reservoir carries the phantom past); the H₀ seam. From AP44 (locked): the constitution as the arena's snap; the arena-blink identification (the Snap, the Blink, the Stretch — one event at three scales), carried as canon in AP46 §10. From AP45 (FINAL v1.7, locked): the two ε-roles never conflated; the ledger's three lines, HELD / SHED / RATE. From AP42: the dark clock τ = (6/21)·t_H (KS-42.3 the formula, KS-42.6 its empirical limb) and KS-42.4's equation-of-state posture, untouched. From the whole family: KS-CCC.1's sovereignty — data may eliminate structural candidates, never generate them.

## The session plan (WP-ASM.1 §6, re-read for a derivation that does not yet exist)

S1 — the rope order: the author's eyes on the handler at work, in his words, before anything is written down as a symbol. S2 — the derivation is built in the chat, structure first, every unforced step named as it is made. S3 — the era table, pass or fail, one line each, against the pre-registered targets. S4 — the paper, in the house dress, with the corpse rule standing whichever way S3 goes.
