> **SUPERSEDED.** This file was published for about an hour on 7 September 2026 and is superseded by the version above. Its notes carry the date **9 September 2026**, which was the date on the desk's draft and not the date the notes were appended. The ruling is explicit — *the date on each note is the date WC appends it* — and that date is 7 September 2026. Two of its notes also predate G's ruling on their text: AP30's item 10 did not carry C beside R, its item 11 did not carry the sentence on the now, and AP49's note did not carry the §0.2 pointer. It is kept, never deleted, because it was published: it is in Zenodo version 10.5281/zenodo.22646076, which is permanent.

# Republish AP49 — The Hold — FINAL v1.0 · dated note 9 September 2026

The locked body is untouched. One dated note is appended after §8, where AP30's and AP47's sit. Verified after the build: the source of record beside this note reproduces the new PDF paragraph for paragraph, and **every body sentence of the previous PDF is present in the new one** — 0 lost, checked sentence by sentence with running heads and page numbers stripped.

## The typeface changed, and that needs saying

This paper is the one of the three republished today whose PDF was not made in Word. G's freeze bundle of 6 September built it in LibreOffice, on a machine that did not have **Atkinson Hyperlegible** installed, so LibreOffice substituted **DejaVu Sans** and the paper was published in a font it never asked for. The docx specifies Atkinson Hyperlegible throughout.

There is therefore no way to reproduce the published appearance on a machine that has the font: any faithful rebuild, Word or LibreOffice, finds Atkinson Hyperlegible and uses it. The rebuild is in Word, as AP30's and AP47's were. **27 pages become 25** — the note adds text and the correct font sets tighter than the substitute. Not one word of the body changed.

This is not only AP49's. **Forty-four of the fifty published PDFs are set in DejaVu Sans out of LibreOffice, and six in Atkinson Hyperlegible out of Word.** The split is not a design choice: it is whether the build machine had the font. Atkinson Hyperlegible is an accessibility typeface and it is the one the source documents call for. That is G's to rule on; it is recorded here because this republish is the first place it bites.

**The outgoing digest is cited by:** `freezes/2026-09-06-AP49/SHA256SUMS.txt`, `freezes/2026-09-06-AP49/instruments/PREREG_2026-09-06-mp-me-closed.md`, `prereg/2026-09-06-mp-me-closed.md`, `prereg/doc/2026-09-06-mp-me-closed.html`, `proofs/instruments/AP49/PREREG_2026-09-06-mp-me-closed.md`, `proofs/instruments/AP49/SHA256SUMS.txt`, `proofs/instruments/AP49/SOURCE_OF_RECORD.md` — frozen files, not edited. The digest they cite resolves to the preserved file above, which is why it is kept at a stable path and not only in git history.

## The note, for the record

> 9 September 2026. One matter of record. Nothing in the body is altered.
>
> §3's two fours — the four conditions the thing held, the four dimensions what they are held through — are, by AP10, one four in two roles: the four dimensions are the four axioms' own faces. The sixteen is the four conditions of a record held in three dimensions over time, 4 × (3 + 1); a requirement held through a direction is a product whether or not the direction is the requirement's own face. Multiplied, never collapsed; the grid reading stays dead on the neutron's eight.

Ruled by G, 9 September 2026, on the desk's replies of 8 September.

*A locked body is never edited, replaced or removed — corrections go beside it by dated note.*
