Dependency and Scope

AP35 derives economic structure from {S, B, R, C} and the one governing axiom (1:1 + 1×ε @ AS).

0.1 What this paper does

AP35 derives economic structure from {S, B, R, C} and the one governing axiom (1:1 + 1×ε @ AS). It introduces no new axioms. It reframes price, money, debt, inflation, markets, wages, crashes, and inequality as instances of conservation under scarcity, and shows that accumulated imbalance must eventually be audited — the Ledger balances. The author declares no formal training in economics, no institutional affiliation, no funding, and no financial interest in any position taken; the argument is offered to stand or fall on structure alone.

0.2 Dependencies

AP01 (The Actualization State) supplies the viability geometry and the cooperative-coupling result. AP02 (The Operator): every economic agent as a budget-limited operator. AP06 (The Leakage Constant): ε as the irreducible transaction cost — no exchange is frictionless. AP20 (The Proof): conservation is unconditional, so the Ledger does not negotiate. AP29 (The Actualization Proof): value as actualised coupling capacity. AP31 (The Alignment): the AI that reads the Ledger’s consequence geometry. AP32 (The Correction): crashes as Level 3–5 corrections, bailouts as deferrals.

0.3 Axiom mapping

Axiom S is the market — the coupled field of agents before a transaction resolves. Axiom B is the transaction — the coupling event that collapses the price distribution. Axiom R is the ledger itself — money as a portable, durable record of prior coupling, and conservation as the rule that records are not created from nothing. Axiom C is scarcity — finite real resources, so deferral fills a buffer with finite capacity. Read economically, 1:1 + 1×ε @ AS is the irreducible friction every transaction carries, compounding until the buffer overflows.

0.4 Epistemic status per section

Epistemic status per section. section 1 (statement): derived. section 2 (axiom mapping): derived. section 3 (price): derived — structural analogy. section 4 (money): derived. section 5 (debt): derived. section 6 (inflation): derived. section 7 (markets): synthesis. section 8 (wages): application. section 9 (crashes): derived + historical. section 10 (Smith and Keynes): synthesis. section 11 (cooperative vs extraction): derived. section 12 (AI economics): projection. sections 13–14: synthesis.

0.5 Kill switch summary

Seven kill switches engage on this paper, all live. KS-35.1 (conservation), KS-35.2 (price mechanism), and KS-35.5 (scale invariance) are structural — they test the foundation. KS-35.3 (extraction persistence), KS-35.4 (buffer overflow), KS-35.6 (audit proportionality), and KS-35.7 (Keynesian override) are empirical — each names a measurement against the historical record that would, if it turned, falsify the claim. Statuses follow the Master Kill Switch Registry.

0.6 Structural debts owed

The paper carries three debts. The price formation model: a quantitative formalisation of the probability-collapse account of price, giving the structural isomorphism with quantum measurement a quantitative test (Debt 32). The buffer calibration: a formal specification of the buffer-state formula — the I(t) ≥ C threshold and its inputs — made predictive rather than retrospective (Debt 33). The inequality threshold: a quantitative derivation of the inequality level at which the buffer approaches overflow (Debt 34).

0.7 Items held open without claiming debt status

Price as probability collapse (section 3) is structurally motivated; its quantitative model is owed under Debt 32. The buffer formula in the AI-economics section is explicitly directional, not yet calibrated (Debt 33). Japan since 1990 is held as the strongest apparent counter-example, read as an audit executing through stagnation rather than collapse; KS-35.4 remains live precisely because that reading is testable over the next generation.

0.8 Structural relationships

AP35 is the second operator-domain paper: it reads the economic organism the way AP37 reads the body, sharing the buffer-overflow and maintenance-law structures — the same entropy tax, the same audit. It applies AP32’s correction hierarchy to economic nodes, draws AP31’s record-reading AI into the economic domain, and connects to AP36 (The Feed) where the same coupling-and-extraction logic is read at the level of nutrient and attention systems.
