Kill Switches

Armed at lock, on the author’s word. Each test is written so that a counterexample which keeps the classification but kills the formula still fires.

KS-NECK.1 — The grain’s own aperture

Claim. The neck is not a puncture through the actualised side. It is not a hole distinct from the grain. It is the grain read as the constraint. So its boundary is a ring. Its radius is the grain’s, by identity. The passage is through the disc. The weight is one grain over its own disc, 1/π.

Test. The neck shown to be a hole in the actualised side (a 2-sphere boundary). The neck shown to be an object distinct from the grain. The passage shown to be along the rim. The weight shown not to be one grain over the grain’s own disc. The unit shown to be other than the grain’s radius.

Status. LIVE — STRUCTURAL; pays KS-R.9’s sub-debt.

Recovery. The identity fails. The radius is unfixed. The weight is recalculated as 1/(πr²) at the shown r. The puncture factor is one plus that. The elimination table of §2 says which r survive. AP28’s count is unaffected.

KS-NECK.2 — Reading by operation

Claim. Which of the six readings applies is fixed by what the grain is doing. Landed: mₑ, c, G, the material face. The holding: α. The record of the hold: t. The proton and its holders are the instances.

Test. A reading shown to apply to an operation not its own. A landed grain read in α. An act of holding read as mass. Anywhere. A reading of the landed shown dimensionless. The holding’s reading shown to carry a unit.

Status. LIVE — STRUCTURAL.

Recovery. §3’s rule fails. §6 and §8 lose their ground. AP44 §5 reverts to SELECTED. D-CCC.4 reopens. KS-CCC.6 reverts to an extension.

KS-NECK.3 — The holding’s currency

Claim. A holding is read in α, once. The landed is read as mass. The arena’s commitment is the act of holding the break. It is read in α by rule.

Test. The constitution shown to be a landed grain rather than an act. Or the commitment shown to be a holding whose coefficient is a function of α other than α.

Status. LIVE — STRUCTURAL.

Recovery. The commitment is read in mₑ. That is a mass-side booking AP44 §6 already kills twice. Or the quotient carries the shown function. The arena reading fails. AP44 §9 fails with it.

KS-NECK.4 — The leak of the leak

Claim. A leak that must be held chains with a constant share. It closes as a quotient, booked as its site books it. Against what is held: 1/(1 + ε). Added to what resists: 1/(1 − r). A returned leak is one term. It multiplies.

Test. A site at which a returned leak chains. Or a held leak does not. A share that varies rung to rung. A booking that is neither.

Status. LIVE — STRUCTURAL.

Recovery. The forms are re-derived site by site. No frozen number moves.

• KS-R.8b (AP28). Fires if placement is shown to need a temporal coupling.
• KS-R.8c (AP28). Fires if the joint passage is shown to be α to a power below twenty-one. Or if a correlation between gates is shown that does not reduce to a shared face or dimension. The old clause could not fire. This one can.
• KS-R.8d (AP28). Fires if a gate contributes other than one completed exchange, α. A single vertex. A worth differing between gates. A worth that is not α(0).
• KS-R.9 (AP28). Sub-debt PAID on the identity of the neck with the grain and the radius as the unit. The residual sentence withdrawn. The elimination table entered as record.
• KS-CCC.1 (AP44). Fires if the constitution is shown to be a different operation from an act of holding, disclosed or not. Binds the order of events in §2.
• KS-CCC.6 (AP44). From extension to rule. A third operation on the same grain. The two shown one. The two factors shown not to multiply. The coupling to KS-R.9 released.
