Section 8
One grain uncoupled at every now, the +1×ε, at the neck’s measure. The arena’s holding of the break in α. Three factors as three things. The bound ruled and fenced. KS-CCC.6 from extension to rule.
AP44 read one ε twice and called it an extension. Here it is two states of one grain. And the bound that keeps it at two.
Claim. At every now exactly one grain is uncoupled. It is the one in the neck, being written. It is the axiom’s +1×ε. It is read at the neck’s measure. Every landed grain is coupled and held. The arena’s commitment is the holding of the break, the tipped state, read in α. A configuration’s own commitments are held in it as mass (AP44 §4). The two factors of the realised coupling read two states: the uncoupled and the held. The three factors of α_G∗ are three quantities of three things. There is no third operation on a grain inside G’s instrument.
Intuition. There is always a grain in the neck. There has to be. If the last one landed and everything balanced, nothing could be written or read. That grain is not the same object as the pile it will join. One is falling. The other is held. You measure the falling grain by the opening it fills. You measure the held pile by what it costs to keep. Different numbers. Different things.
Givens. AP44 §7 Proposition 6 and KS-CCC.6. The author’s rulings (“one grain stays uncoupled — always +1×ε”). §§2, 3, 6, 7 here. AP45, AP46 (the flow priced per event and per persistence).
Ruling — the uncoupled grain (the author). “One grain stays uncoupled in the process — the one uncoupled — and its record actualises and gets written in the neck.” “There must also be one left over — otherwise perfect balance will return and the universe will balance out.” “Never completely actualised and balanced — always +1×ε.” The passage is “the uncoupled grain being aware of coupling configuration opportunities, which likely possible outcome is a function of the record history landscape — and the grain is both the reader and the coupler and the coupling, now.”
Theorem — two states, two readings. The neck’s grain: uncoupled. Being written. Read at the neck’s measure. No α, because it has not coupled. The arena: holding the break. The holding read in α (§6). The landed configuration: coupled and held. Its own commitments as mass. Different state. Different operation. Different measure. The passage is read once: the writing of the uncoupled grain now. The click is not a reading of the passage. It is the count of passages: time (§3). “The uncoupled grain” and “the coupling event being actualised” are one thing under two names.
Theorem — three factors, three things. α_G∗ = α²¹ × (1 + 1/π) / (1 + α). The first is the gates’ conjunction. A coupling: twenty-one completed exchanges of the grain that lands. The second is the neck’s grain added to the balanced twenty-one. A geometry: one grain over its own aperture. The 1:1 + 1×ε of the axiom written into the coupling (AP28 §6). The third is the arena’s act of holding the break. A share of what it holds (§7). A coupling, a geometry, a share. Three quantities of three things. That is why none counts another. That they compose as a product is the rule AP28 and AP44 write. This paper keeps it and does not prove it.
Ruling — the bound (the author, fenced). A rule of its own, beside §3’s. 1/π is not a face. One factor per operation on the grain inside the instrument of G. The operations on one grain inside that instrument are the two before the flow. The neck, read at its measure. The holding, read in α. The flow is the third operation. It is not in this instrument. It is priced per event (AP45) and per persistence (AP46). A factor from it in G would count one cost twice. The bound is ruled and fenced. Not proved. What would exhibit a third: the flow’s cost, priced per blink in AP45, entering G as a further factor; or any operation on the grain that is neither the neck’s geometry nor the holding’s act — a deformation of the grain, a rotation independent of the aperture, a coupling that changes the passage without changing the aperture or the holding. The bound excludes these by ruling: the instrument of G contains the neck and the holding, and nothing else. KS-CCC.6 fires on any of them.
Grade. The uncoupled grain and the held configuration: Ruled. Two readings and three factors: Derived. The bound: Ruled, fenced.
KS-CCC.6 (AP44) — From extension to rule. Fires on a third operation on the same grain inside the instrument. On the two being shown one. Or on the two factors being shown not to multiply. Its coupling to KS-R.9 released. By dated note.
Connections. The neck’s grain is the pupil of AP51: the one grain no reader can read now. The flow is AP45’s and AP46’s.
One grain falling. One pile held. Never two grains held.
