The Dent That Swallows

The tubes, in the author’s words. Opened. Not closed.

The author’s describing. “Now if the dent becomes very deep and accumulates a lot of mass, sometimes a black hole can develop, and rather than rolling all the way to point B, the black hole swallows the grain of sand … and spits it out somewhere else as a grain of sand.” And from The Keys and AP50 §1: the tubes swallow configurations, defragment them back to grains, and each is actualised again. That is the total loop.

What the picture says. A dent deep enough is a tube. It does not curve the crossing. It ends it. A grain that enters does not arrive at B. It is defragmented: the configuration is undone to grains. The grains re-enter through the neck. So a black hole, in the picture, is the landscape swallowing configurations back into potential. What comes out is a grain, not a record. Nothing un-records — the record history keeps what was written — but a configuration can be returned to sand.

What this paper does with it. Nothing more than name it. The return of configurations through the neck is a conjecture of the picture. No dynamics of the return, its destination or its observable consequences is supplied here. It is not bare. The corpus carries it as AP04, The Loop Hypothesis, conjectural and under nine switches, and AP46 prices the leak at the neck as the sky’s expansion. What §6 adds is the picture’s word for it: the dent that swallows. This paper does not need the tubes for §§1–5. The tubes are their own paper, or nowhere. The desk records here what the author said, so that paper starts from his words.
