Section 2
Not a puncture. A ring with through-passage, by ruling. The grain’s own aperture, by ruling. So r = 1 by identity and the weight 1/π. The numerator forced by the axiom’s +1×ε. The elimination entered as record, order disclosed. KS-R.9’s sub-debt paid.
The paper’s first debt. The reviewers pressed it hardest. Where the circle comes from, and why 1/π.
Claim. The neck is not a puncture through the actualised side. So the 2-sphere objection does not reach it. Its boundary is a ring. The grain passes through the disc. Both by the author’s ruling. The neck is the grain’s own aperture — the grain read as the constraint. So there is nothing else at the neck to measure against. The author rules the grain’s radius as the unit. Then the unpaired element’s weight is one grain over its own disc: 1/π. KS-R.9’s sub-debt is paid on the identity and the unit together. The residual sentence comes out.
Intuition. AP28 imagined a hole punched through space. It asked what the hole’s edge looks like. A hole through three-space is bounded by a sphere. The objection wrote itself. But the neck is not a hole in the world. It is the place where the probability side meets the record. There is exactly one thing at that place: the grain. The grain is both the thing passing and the opening it passes through. The identity leaves one thing to say: which length of the grain is one. The author says the radius. The disc of one radius has area π.
Givens. AP28 Proposition 4 and §6 (the circle; the 1/π; the residual sentence). AP10 §7 (the probability dimension prior to the manifold). The author’s rulings of 8 September (the ring; through, not along; the grain as the constraint itself; the radius as the unit). The axiom’s +1×ε.
Theorem — not a puncture (derived). A puncture through the actualised side is a hole in space. Its boundary is a 2-sphere, measure 4π. The neck is not that. It is the aperture between the probability side and the record, at the now. It is not a hole in the actualised side. So the sphere argument does not apply to the object the corpus has. That argument was the whole of the objection. Proposition 4’s Steps 2 to 4 — the sphere, the tube, the axis — are superseded.
Ruling — the ring (the author). “Circle — the neck of the hourglass.” All twenty-one converge at it, “like a magnet where the north and south fields converge”. “One grain at a time at the circle of the neck — one coupling event.” The grain passes through the disc. Never along the rim. On this ruling the aperture’s measure is an area. The dimensionless value of a circle’s area is π. The two rivals AP28 named are dead. 2π is the rim. The grain does not travel it. 4π is the sphere. The neck is not one.
Ruling — the grain’s own aperture (the author). “The grain of sand is the constraint itself and the constraint being read.” “The grain of sand itself is the record being read, by reading the conditions and reading conditions of the record itself — it is and can only be expressed as a single grain of sand, and the shape and characteristics of the grain of sand itself become the observer, the observing and the one being observed.” One object at the neck. Not two.
Theorem — the weight (derived from the rulings and the axiom). The numerator is forced. The factor counts one grain: the +1×ε, the one grain uncoupled at every now (§8). That there is exactly one is the tip. The tip is the axiom. The form is a share: one grain’s measure over the aperture’s. That is AP28’s own Step 5, read correctly. The identity of the neck with the grain fixes the object. The aperture is the grain. There is nothing else at the neck to be measured against. It leaves one thing to rule: the unit. The author rules the grain’s radius as the unit of length at the neck. The unit of area is its square: one. The disc is π. One grain, counted, per aperture is one over π. This is a normalisation rule, not a choice of unit. It says which area counts as one grain’s measure: the square on its radius. Once fixed, the ratio is the same in any unit. The author, on the unit, 11 September 2026: “The grain is the moment in time between the measure and the cut. That is a fixed ratio.” The ratio is fixed by what the grain is. Not by what anyone picks. The other rule — the diameter as one, r = ½ — gives a weight four times the ruled one. It gives a G seventy-two percent high once the whole formula is run. It is in the table below, as record. The term carries no α. The neck’s grain has not coupled. Coupling is the landing.
The same aperture, from the other side. The aperture is the grain’s own. For the same reason it is the glass’s own. Glass and sand are one kind of thing in two configurations. The reader — the glass, the held configuration that reads the sand — reads through the grain’s aperture. That is why the reading is one grain at a time. That is all this paper says of the glass. The rest is AP51 The Glass.
The record of the killing. The other readings of the aperture are dead on the measurement. This is entered as record, never as source. The order is disclosed, because KS-CCC.1 requires it. “One grain at a time” was written in December 2025. The constraint sentence was the author’s on the afternoon of 8 September 2026. The desk showed him the elimination that night, when he asked which reading the number throws out. He ruled the identity after, as what he had said. With the rest of the formula as AP28 and AP44 wrote it, and CODATA-2022 inputs:
| Reading of the aperture | w | G (×10⁻¹¹) | Against CODATA |
|---|---|---|---|
| no unpaired term | 0 | 5.061 | −24.2% |
| the sphere | 1/(4π) | 5.464 | −18.1% |
| the rim | 1/(2π) | 5.866 | −12.1% |
| the grain’s own disc, r = 1 | 1/π | 6.672 | −0.036% |
| one grain per one | 1 | 10.122 | +51.7% |
| a disc the grain spans as diameter, r = ½ | 4/π | 11.505 | +72.4% |
The weight w is the geometric factor of AP28 §6. One grain’s measure over the aperture’s. The unpaired element’s share, added to the balanced twenty-one. So α_G = α²¹(1 + w). The table is an elimination. It shows what can work and what cannot. G is measured to about twenty-two parts per million. Every reading of the aperture but one is dead against that measurement, by thousands of its own σ. One starts the engine. It is the grain’s own disc. That one is itself sixteen of those σ from the value. The gap is AP44’s open −0.036%, disclosed there. It is not this paper’s. So the table names the corpses. It does not confirm the expression at the measurement’s precision, and the ruling is not derived from it. The derivation is the identity. The table entered after the ruling, never as its source. That is KS-CCC.1’s hygiene, and it is what the neutron’s table was in AP47.
Grade. Not-a-puncture and the form of the factor: Derived. The ring, through-passage, the grain’s own aperture and the radius as the unit: Ruled, in the author’s words, dated. The value 1/π: Derived from the rulings. KS-R.9’s sub-debt: paid at the structural register.
KS-NECK.1 — The grain’s own aperture. Fires if the neck is shown to be a hole in the actualised side. Or an object distinct from the grain. Or if the passage is shown to be along the rim. Or the weight not one grain over the grain’s own disc. Or the unit shown to be other than the grain’s radius. LIVE — STRUCTURAL.
KS-R.9 (AP28) — Sub-debt PAID on the identity. The switch keeps the ring. It no longer cites the residual. By dated note.
Connections. The factor lives where AP28 §6 put it: on the persistence coupling. The neck only ever holds the one grain (§8). The glass reads through the same aperture (AP51). The elimination’s hygiene is AP47’s (KS-FLIP.2).
The aperture is the grain. The unit is his.
