The Axiom First

1:1 + 1×ε @ AS [+1/137 / −1/137]

One record exists. Denying it writes another. Four conditions follow: Symmetry, Break, Record, Constraint. The 1:1 is the perfect symmetry. The 1×ε is the break, held, never cycling, kept as small as possible. The AS is the now, from where the hold is read. The bracket is the flow around the held break: out as actualisation, back as defragmentation, net zero at every instant, but for the one grain.

Read the line again and see what it says about equality. 1 = 1 + 1×ε. The whole is whole and the electron is there. Imbalance is not an accident of the picture; it is the picture. Every equality this paper states between two readings holds up to that one grain, and §3 says so as a switch.

α lives in the bracket. This paper is about the bracket seen from the neck.

One note on the line itself, since this paper refuses the value. The 137 written into the bracket is the measured value set into the picture, not a derived one, and it has been written that way since the axiom was first stated. Where the structure is what is at issue, read the bracket as ±α.
